Rough ways smooth

Luke 3:5 it say ” Every valley shall be filled in, every mountain and hill made low. The crooked roads shall become straight, the rough ways smooth. Before Luke spoke this the Prophet Isaiah said the same things in Isaiah 46:12. What Luke and Isaiah was telling us is that all hindrances shall be taken out-of-the-way:

You and I still have rough places where the Lord is still ironing them out of us, for He want us to be smooth and finished. So at times we find that when the Lord starts ironing things out of us, it can be very hot we feel the heat, but we don’t get burned, we smell the fire but it doesn’t touch us. Understand God loves us so much that He doesn’t want us to have anything in us that is ungodly.

We must be joyful don’t complain just do what must be done, and allow the Lord to iron out the rough places in our lives for when God is done with one area being smooth we can stand back and say, thank God for making that area smooth. AMEN!

  1. I’m Amen-ing too, dear Desiray! I’m all for His special touch , even with an iron. (hey, this has me thinking of without spot or wrinkle. πŸ™‚ ) God bless you!

    1. Yes it does don’t it? Without wrinkle or spot. It has me thinking about how my mother would iron and she never complained she had so much joy that is why I posted this it tells me that when God is smoothing out the rough places I am still be joyful. For it is a joy to know when He has finished ironing we look very smooth. AMEN

  2. Thanks, Minister Desiray πŸ™‚

Ironing is my least favourite house chore, but the imagery of Jesus smoothing the crushed up places makes me smile πŸ™‚ I hope to remember this lesson the next time I have to iron!
