Who’s in the Mirror?

Who are you? What is it about the mirror we love? I know the purpose of it is for us is to see how we look. But let’s go deeper than that shall we, what about the image of ourselves, do we like what we see? So often we hear people say  I am going to go and find myself, I know what they are trying to say is that they are looking for meaning and purpose in their lives.

But do they really think that they are going to find such a place? We can go all across this great world and never find ourselves, because we are spirit beings and spirit beings need that relationship with Jesus in order to find purpose and meaning to our lives.

You do have Jesus in your life and yet you still don’t like the person you see in the mirror then what? Well could it be that you are still holding on to those little foxes in your life which is keeping you seeing yourself like Christ sees you? I truly believe so, until you and I know who we belong to and who is God we will never see ourselves the way Christ sees us. He sees purpose and destiny in us, He sees us as love and wonderfully made in His image. Begin today by letting go of those little foxes in your life for they are spoiling the vine for you. Have a great a blessed Sunday..AMEN

Your post reminds me of a song I learned years ago 🙂 I like the part that says “When (God ) looks t me, He sees not what I used to be, but He sees Jesus”!
May I too see Jesus every time I look at me :-0)
    Blessings
