Habakkuk 2:2-3 says” And the Lord answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.
Do you jot down things in a notebook so you won’t forget them? I know for me I have two notebooks that I keep one stays near by bed and the other next to my computer in my office, the reason for this was so when I happen to get a revelation of something I can jot it down very quickly, their use to be a time I would just keep it in my mind but I am beginning to see, that doesn’t always work because I end up forgetting things.
Why did Habakkuk do as the Lord instructed, Romans 15:4 says it best, For everything that was written in the past was written to teach us, so that through endurance and the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope. Maybe you may be a person who don’t write things down I ask you today start writing what the Lord reveals to you, this is your beginning and wait for what the Lord will bring it to pass, don’t give up on the waiting. Remember God’s timing is not our timing.
