R U living in the Past

Philippians 3:13 says” Brothers, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead

In the moment of time have you ever wish you could go back and change something? We all have wished it but the truth of  the matter is that time waits for no one. It keeps ticking and it continues to move and we feel as though we want to push the time back so we keep going back into the past of our history, looking at that happen. We can’t stay in the past time we must keep moving forward.

Why do we go back to time past? Can it really make a difference in our today? I truly believe the answer is NO! Time pass is what it is time past that season has come and gone in our lives it’s time to move forward, but yet something will keep you and I coming back to the past, and do you know what it is? It’s un-finished business that draws us back to the past.

Did you know that the Father doesn’t want you and I going back and forth into the past? He want to you stay in the future, see what ever happen in our past the Lord will take care of and bring restoration to your soul, but if we keep going back to the past your healing will become more difficult for you. Remember whom the Son set free is free indeed, your past is just what it is your past, don’t bring it to your future.

Each day we are given a brand new day and we should be very excited about it, we can’t do nothing about the past but we can do a whole lot with our new day. So whatever you feel as though you didn’t do right, or you didn’t speak up about or the pain you may still have, stay out of your past time and let God make your day today a brighter today. AMEN!

  1. I think I’m almost “cured” of going back to revisit the past–I don’t want to turn into a salt lick! God bless you, Desiray–love, sis Caddo
