Galatians 6:2 says” Carry each others burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.

When we speak of prayer and praying for others we forget to help them carry their burden. I believe the reason we do that is because we don’t want it to burden us.

Jesus is telling us that we are to help people in times of sickness, sorrow, financial stress. It also means to pray for them earnestly. I remember many years ago my pastor said“if you are in a valley and you don’t know what to do “go and help lift someone out of their valley” at first I did not know what he was saying but later in life I learned just what it meant.

Today won’t you help carry the burden of another, their burden is heavy and their shoulders are tired they need you to step in and help them carry the load, won’t you be the arms of Jesus for them? Remember when you are in your valley God sent someone to carry your burdens.

If you have a prayer request or a testimony about today’s devotional scripture please feel free to share it in the comment. God bless us all as we be obedient to God’s words, AMEN!

  1. Desiray, I love Galatians 6:2, thank you for sharing this all important exhortation. Your article makes me think of a really old song about how beautiful the Body of Christ is. Blessings!

  2. Right now there are four of us praying as warriors for a dear friend of ours who is suffering. Each of us have a different quarter hour to lift her up. She says she can feel our prayers and what is amazing? I am being so blessed doing this I feel His love and power too. God is so good.

    1. Yes Jean the Lord is good and He hears your prayers for this dear friend of yours. I love the fact that you guys are praying around the clock that is what a warrior does. AMEN
