Who’s Coming By?

Hebrews 13: 2 says” Do not forget to show hospitality to strangers, for by so doing some people have shown hospitality to angels without knowing it.

Everyday you and I never know what a person might be in need of. The Lord will place you and I to be at the right place at the right time. For me these moments happen when I have less energy or when I am not myself. Someone will come across my path and say something that will turn my day around and bring me more energy then I had. Often times I don’t even know that they are Christians, and you know what to me it doesn’t matter because what I have found out that God will send sinners to encourage us.

Today I ask you as you go about your day running errand meeting all kinds types of people when someone comes to you and say something to you instead of brushing them off, take time to see if the Lord sent them your way! I know not everyone who comes across our path was sent by God, but remember everything must go through Him first. Maybe what you are needing today is not a word to encourage you,  but maybe you need a word of correction, the Lord sends people our way to correct us as well.

Yes, it’s a hard pill to swallow but we do need correction in our lives.  May you have a blessed today, and may our hearts be ready to receive it….AMEN..

  1. D, I’m just so glad to follow your blog! Your wise words have encouraged me, yet again.Thank you so much for faithfully sharing what God has taught you so that we all may be encouraged in The Way!

    1. Thank you for being connected to me on this site. I always believed God uses different ways to bring people together. It’s always a blessing to me when I can share life with others and they can share with me what they have learned on their Journey with the Lord. We learn and grow with each other. Have a blessed Weekend my friend.

  2. A great reminder! I can’t count the times I was too busy to notice the needs of someone because I was trying to finish my to do list before the day ran out. I’m going to make a more conscience effort to slow down and notice the people. Lord help me
