Blessed Are the Peacemakers…

Matthew 5:9 says” Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called sons of God.

  • Name Calling it’s so not of God and yet we do it all the time, WHY?

Why do we call people out of their names? Why are we wanting to hurt them with name calling? Did you know that when we do this we bring condemnation on our own selves? If you really knew that then we would stop the name calling. We name call our friends, family members, spouses, co-workers we do it all the time and not realizing how much damage we are bringing to them as well as ourselves.

Jesus said Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called sons of God. What is Jesus telling us? He is telling us that His children don’t bring dissention His children bring peace which is the gospel. If you are constantly name calling someone ask yourself this? What is bothering you deep down on the inside  that is causing you to hurt someone else?

No two people are always going to agree we are all made different but in our differences let’s not lower ourselves to name calling for this is a trick of the enemy. If you feel as though you can’t make a point or the situation is a big to sticky at the time excuse yourself and come back later when you are more calmer. The book of proverbs speaks allot about things like this our temper and our mouth.

Let God help you in this area let Him teach you a much better way to deal with it. He loves you so much and He want you and I to be peacemakers. AMEN

  1. I always try to think about the effects of my words before I open my mouth. But, there are many people who don’t think before they speak. Or they are so callus that they just don’t care if they hurt other people. The saying: “Sticks and stones shall break my bones, but words shall never hurt me” is plan false.
