Proverbs 1:8  says” Listen, my son, to your father’s instruction and do not forsake your mother’s teaching.

Ephesians 6:4 says” And, ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.

Families are a blessing from God. We can’t pick and choose who we would like to be apart of our family. We can pick who our friends are but one can never pick who our parents and siblings will be.

But through it all family is very important and most of the times most families have their disputes but even in that you are still apart of that family.

All  families has their shares of ups and downs. There are issues in every family across the world. At times it might seem as if you and your family are the only ones going through a storm. But what if you could see what another family is enduring at this very moment than you would see that no family is perfect. We always think we have it worst then anyone else, until we see with our eyes or hear with our ears that someone else is much worse than we are.

What keeps the family together?

  • What makes the family strong?
  • What can you do to support the family?
  • What is best for the family?

The list can go on and on because with family comes so many issues. We see homes broken apart and some never resolve issues and some just leave and never to return. Look at your family today, and see if it is healthy? We must learn to make our families and our relationship to our families healthy!

Now understand healthy family does not mean that you all are going to agree. A  healthy family is about respecting  the other person even if you don’t agree. Healthy is loving them and helping them even when it is hard to do. Healthy relationship will never be like it once was but it will be different and much healthier as each person work on it.
