Your Spiritual Gifts

gifts

There is not one person that will say they don’t like getting gifts, because we all love it rather it’s small or huge we love receiving gifts. It makes us smile and over all it makes us feel loved. I always say that when a person gives you something it’s because they had you on their heart.

But today I want to talk about “Gifts” that we receive that are actually for the other person and not for you! The Lord gives each one of His children Spiritual Gifts and these gifts are given to us to share with other people. We are not to sit or hide our gifts and be foolish like the five (5) virgins  without oil for their lamps or those who had the talents and did not use them for others. Jesus called them foolish for what they did.

The gift that Jesus gives us is to be active in our lives because the Lord will place us in a position where we will use that gift or gifts to minister to people. Now here is where the blessing comes in, the moment you and I share our gifts with other people we are blessing the Father, and isn’t that our hearts desire is to bless the Lord in every area of our lives?

Today I ask you what is your spiritual gift and are you sharing it with others or are you like the five (5) virgins who missed out when the groom came?

  1. Great food for thought! My spiritual gift is the ability to convey messages from God in a simple straight forward way that all readers can understand and relate to. I also like the fact that my words (penned by God) bless others a lot, just as they bless me in writing them. It really is a wonderful gift from God and I am grateful to be able to share it with others.

Do you have a spiritual gift? Have you ever even thought about it? My gift is the ability to take messages from God and present them as ‘word’ gifts to His readers, in a way that they can understand and relate to. I also like to think that I have other gifts too e.g. compassion and empathy. So what are your gifts? And how are you giving them to others? Something for sure to think about, at Christmas.

    1. One of mine is called into Ministry of the five fold. Which is Evangelism and teaching. I do allot of teaching here on the internet in my community and church.

Thanks for sharing this post with your readers may they be blessed by it
