Flesh and Spirit

Galatians 5:16 says” This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh.

Galatians 5:17 says” For the flesh sets its desire against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; for these are in opposition to one another, so that you may not do the things that you please.…

Walk in the spirit not the flesh

What is it about our “WILLS”? Think about it for a moment. We are stubborn we are stiff-necked which means our main problem is ourselves. Hear me on this, we wrestle with ourselves when it comes to submitting to the Word of God, and why is that? I do believe it balls right down to “TRUST” we would rather trust others trust our own hearts instead of trusting the Lord Jesus. I know this is not what you wanted to hear today but let’s face it because of our experiences in life from pass hurts disappointments we don’t trust and because of that we struggle to trust the Lord Jesus for in the back of our minds we are tossing back and forth wondering if Jesus is going to answer us or we wondering how He is going to do it or will He did it the way we want to see the outcome of a matter handled. That my brothers and sisters is not TRUSTING.

Let’s begin today to make an honest approach to walk less everyday in the flesh and walk more in the SPIRIT, AMEN!
