When your Body say’s Enough is Enough

3 John 1:2 says” Beloved, I desire that in all things thou shouldest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospers. … and to be in health, even as thy soul doth prosper

as thy soul prosperWhy is it that the moment we read this verse the first thing that comes to our mind is we gonna be rich? Why must we as Christians always think about money all the time?

If you understood this verse its talks about far more than money. John is telling us that the Lord Jesus wants us to prosper in every area of our lives that includes mind, body and soul. Did you know that if you prosper in money and you suffer in your health that you haven’t prosper at all according to this scripture?

Do you listen to your body? Many times when we feel run down and tried we try many different things.

If we don’t take heed to what our body is saying we will find ourselves in trouble. When we become weary and anxious and stressed, our physical bodies moves into a mode of attack. And during that time of attack it is preparing itself for battle.

So I tell you now when you find yourself overwhelmed you better listen to those warning signals, because if you don’t, your body will go into attack mode.

Our bodies has a way of talking to us and many times we ignore it for many different reasons, rather we don’t want to face that there could be a problem or we think it will go away.  Take heed to what your body is saying, take time out and reflect on what is going on. If you listen early you will catch it before it goes into attack mode.

Sadly enough when people don’t listen to their bodies by the time they do go to the doctors they get bad news and then we want to blame God for not healing us, God had nothing to do with it. The blame starts with the person you see in the mirror, for you was the one who ignored the warning signs.

Ask yourself today do you want to prosper according to this scripture, if the answer is yes then do what it says so you can prosper in mind, body and soul. AMEN
