Priority! Are you doing to much of it?

When you hear the word “priority” what comes to your mind? According to Webster’s Dictionary they define it as a thing that is regarded as more important than another, the fact or condition of being regarded or treated as more important, the right to take precedence or to proceed before others.
Everyone of us prioritize things in our lives from, family, careers, friends and etc. I do think prioritizing has become over-rated, reason being is people now are living by a check-list and if it’s not on the list they aren’t doing it. Some people have really taken it to the extreme of things that they have lost touch with people, including their very own family.
Most homes today in America don’t even sit and have dinner at the same time anymore. Most families aren’t doing any outings together unless it happens to be vacation or holiday. Why? Because they have prioritize their whole life on a piece of paper that they don’t even have time for themselves.
When you are prioritizing remember this, there is only twenty-four (24) hours in a day, are you spending time reading your bible? Are you communicating to the Lord? Are you praying?
Unfortunately when a person has so much in his or her life that they prioritize everything, it is safe to say they have neglect their time with Lord Jesus.
It’s funny how we as humans can be sometimes, we get so busy doing so many things which aren’t even important but we will spend as much time doing it, then the moment troubles come into our lives we are ready to call on the Lord. Yeah, it’s funny “we didn’t have time for Jesus when things was running smooth, now that where in trouble we make all the time in the world to read the bible and pray.
Better thank God that He doesn’t treat us the way we treat Him. AMEN
