Chance to Right a Wrong

Genesis 4:6-7 say’s Then the LORD said to Cain, “Why are you angry? Why is your face downcast? if you do what is right, will you not be accepted? But if you do not do what is right, sin is crouching at your door; it desires to have you, but you must rule over it.”

Satan’s has the five “D” which is his plan.

doubt – makes you question God’s Word and his goodness
discouragement makes you look at your problems rather than at God

diversion makes the wrong things seem attractive so that you will want them more than the right things.
defeat makes you feel like a failure so that you don’t even try
delay makes you put off doing something so that it never gets done.

How do you react when someone suggests you have done something wrong? Do you move to correct the mistake or deny that you need to correct it? After Cain’s sacrifice was rejected. God gave him the chance to right his wrong and try again. God even encouraged him to do this! But like Cain and so many of us we refuse to correct the wrong we’ve done. The consequences of Cain’s life after he refused to do right is an example of startling events that took place in his life all because he refused to admit his wrong.

When you and I make mistakes we must make the wrong right, even if someone suggests that we done something wrong, we have to take an honest look at ourselves and choose God’s way instead of Cain’s way. And we saw that sin was crouching at Cain’s door just like it crouches at our doors. AMEN

UPDATE: If you recall last month I posted a Prayer Request for a young lady who had a concussion and was having trouble with her motor skills.  I want to thank each of you who prayed for her healing because yesterday I saw her and she is doing wonderful, she is back at work, her motor skills are working very well.  Family thanks for praying for her healing. We serve an amazing God.
