Matthew 18:3 says” And he said: “Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.
What I love about children is their innocence, when the Lord spoke about faith, He mentioned children. Children trust and believe when we as adults don’t. No one has to tell a child to have faith, or believe they have that already in them.
The only time a child doesn’t trust or have faith is when an adult has taught them their belief or their way of thinking. A child will pray to Jesus and that child already knows that Jesus has heard and will answer their prayers. They don’t go worrying about what they prayed about.
Christ points to little children as the model to which the members of his kingdom must assimilate themselves. The special attributes of children which he was referring to are humility, unworldliness, simplicity, teachable.
Now let’s look at ourselves and see if we posses these attributes, shall we?
