What you believe is how you will behave.

Matthew 12:33 “Make a tree good and its fruit will be good, or make a tree bad and its fruit will be bad, for a tree is recognized by its fruit.

genesis 3

Jesus summarized this principle in on sentences’ the tree is known by his fruits”

In the book of James, James is known for his direct and forthright declaration on the behavior of those who follow the Lord. For James test of religion is how we act rather than what we profess to believe

What you believe is how you will behave. What are you professing? Does what you profess equals your behavior? When we behave opposite of the word of God then you are not professing Christ. And when you behave as righteous children of God then your professing will equal your behavior.

Far to often our professing and behavior goes totally opposite of each other. Think about it family, how can you say you have faith if all you do is worry? How can you say you trust if all you do is doubt?

  1. Nothing is more confusing than to see someone who profess their faith and in the same instance show actions contrary to what He teaches. Thank you for this post.
