Sexuality running a mock in the House of GOD

1 Corinthians 5:1 says’ It is reported commonly that there is fornication among you, and such fornication as is not so much as named among the Gentiles, that one should have his father’s wife.

1 Corinthians 5:1-13 talks about the immorality within the church. Sin is Sin and God loves the sinner but don’t think that God is please with man makes a conscious decision to let those who are living an abomination lifestyle take positions within the church.

pewThere are people who are living an abomination lifestyle and yet they are in the church ministering to people.

Don’t you know that you are responsible for their welfare? Jesus gave that scripture that says we are to love everyone but we can’t turn our heads away from sin when we see it. . Jesus said He loves the sinner but hates SIN!

Paul goes on to say in verse eleven that not even the pagans commit such an act. The church has adapted the ways of the world in such that they’re inseparable from them, and in this case, actually worse. If you can’t tell the difference, is there a difference? Corinth blended with the world. Paul tells them that  “Calling oneself a Christian while continuing to live an immoral life is reprehensible and degrading  and gives a false testimony to Christ. If the true Christian has intimate association with someone who does this, the non-Christian would may assume that the church approves of such immoral ungodly living that the name of Christ would be dishonored. Questions could arise concerning the true character of the Christian’s own testimony.

In concluding each of us have a responsibility as a Christian. Don’t be afraid to speak to the leaders in your church. When you see sin and don’t say something about it then what you are really saying is you’re in agreement with it. NEVER make excuses for someone’s sin that includes yours as well. AMEN

  1. It is sad that this is becoming an issue is some churches. But unfortunately it is. As preachers water down the messages to accommodate their members, they also lose sight of the truth. There weren’t any accounts in the Bible where Jesus watered things down, so why should His appointed ministers do so? I’m so glad that there are still some preachers, including my own, out there who aren’t afraid to preach the truth AND live it.

    1. Thank you so much for your comment. There is wat to much watering down of the gospel. Like you I thank GOD that my pastor tells us what is in God’s word.

Sadly though there are some leaders who are not speaking the truth and who are not taking a stand against this immortality that is in the churches today. My heart goes out to those people because they are in darkness.

      1. That is one of my biggest problems with the church today. I have a friend that was looking over the church and she asked me why bother? There’s no difference except you have ‘rules’.

I told her if you truly live life for God, then the difference is in your life, how you talk, how you act, what you do and don’t accept. If you truly live life for God, then you stick out like a beautiful rose in a garbage dump.
