Can God “TRUST” you with it?

Luke 12:42 says” And the Lord said, Who then is that faithful and wise steward, whom his lord shall make ruler over his household, to give them their portion of meat in due season?

Can God trust you with it?

How many times have you pleaded with the Lord to give you something? I believe we all have from one time to another. Today I want to challenge your minds on a truth you probably haven’t even thought about.

What ever you have been asking Jesus for and haven’t received ask yourself this one question, “can Jesus trust you with it?” in other-words are you going to remain faithful with it? Will you not become so puffed-up? Often times we go in prayer asking God for things and we aren’t ready to for it. If God can’t trust you with it why would he give it to you?

Jesus sees things that we don’t he knows each of our hearts and he knows that the moment he give you and I that thing he sees that thing will become our god. And that it will destroy us. Because Jesus loves us so much He is not going to give us something that will cause us to be destroyed.

When we are faithful He will give it to us. For He will not with hold any good thing from us. Aren’t you so glad that we serve a God who is concerned about the over all of us? See blessings can cause us to forget about God and thinking that we deserve the blessing. Remember we don’t deserve anything at all! It’s because of His grace and mercy that God gives us anything. AMEN

  1. So very true! It reminds me of a time when I was devastated when God closed the doors on me only to realize a few years later how truly negative it would have been for me if God had given me what I had wanted.
    Thank you for sharing.
