Matthew 19:6 says” Wherefore they are no more two, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.
When Jesus said “Let no man put us asunder ” what was He really saying to us?
Was He saying after you become one flesh that we are no longer our own but we belong to one another?
Or was He telling us not to let nothing come between us?
I believe Jesus was telling us one very important thing and that is this, let no man break the bond of union, dissolve the relation, and separate them from each other, for every trivial thing, upon any slight occasion, or for anything; but what is hereafter mentioned
We know in this world marriages are coming apart many are headed for divorce. Married people are not to let anyone or anything try to destroy what God has put together. No marriage is perfect, but if we keep Jesus at the front of the marriage He will save our marriages. But far to often we allow outside influences to hinder or block what God has to say concerning marriage. We let our pride, emotions and that self strong will person in us to tell us what marriage is. We listen to everyone except God, people may have good intention but your marriage is not base on good intention.
