Sunday’s Word 4 today: Grateful

They other night I was watching a Christmas movie after the movie was over I felt the desire to worship God, the word the Lord dropped in my spirit was Be Grateful. For many of us this song is an old hymnal as I began singing the words to it I saw my life as if I was watching a video when all of a sudden I humbled myself in the presence of the Lord and my heart began to cry. The tears were of thankfulness, of just how good my God has been to me not just over the years but up to that very moment.

Maybe you are feeling a little down maybe you don’t feel appreciated or maybe you just don’t care, I come by today to share this song with you and as you read these word and sing it I pray that what Jesus did for me that night that He will do for you. Because truly every one of us really need to be “Grateful” as I even type this I sense the presence of the Lord. Have thy own way Lord Jesus!

muscial notes

God has not promised me sunshine
That’s not the way it’s supposed to be
But a little rain mixed with God’s sunshine
A little pain, makes me appreciate the good times

Be grateful, be grateful

God desires to feel your longings
Every pain that you feel, He feels them
Just like you, but He can’t afford to make you feel only good
Then you can’t appreciate the good times

Be grateful, be grateful, be grateful
Because there’s someone else who’s worse than you, be grateful
Because there’s someone else who’d love to be in your shoes
Be grateful, God said it would never, never forsake you
Be grateful

P.S. If we would remember that there’s always someone else who’s worse than you are and would love to be in your shoes we would truly know how to be Grateful like Jesus wants us to be.
