1 Corinthians 12:10 says” to another miraculous powers, to another prophecy, to another distinguishing between spirits, to another speaking in different kinds of tongues, and to still another the interpretation of tongues.
Miracles, but before we go any further let me ask you this, what is a miracle to you? Miracles are things that happen that you and I could not do on our own. For example let’s say someone is in need of a financial blessing they need employment, money to pay bills and food to eat. The miracle would be that God stepped in and blessed them not only with a job but a job that they can live above from where they use to live.
A miracle is to see a drug addict come off of drugs and now is a minister of the gospel, a miracle is to see a demonic spirit come out of a person, all through the bible from beginning to end we see all kinds of miracles taking place. and just like they took place back then they are still taking place today. In some countries because they are being persecuted for the gospel they are seeing the miracles right after another, the lame are walking the deaf and dumb spirits are leaving people.
How can you and I stir this gift within us, well first of all we have got to come to a place in our lives where Jesus means everything to us and what I mean by that is this we have to count on Him for all we do, He must come before our jobs, careers, family, friends and ourselves. This can be challenging for us because we as humans haven’t gotten to the place where it’s either Jesus or nothing.
Yes we may see a little bit of signs or miracles but Jesus tells us that we can do great exploits and I don’t know about you but I want to see the lame walk, the deaf and dumb spirit come a new person, I want to be able to speak the word and my entire family uncles, aunts and cousins be saved all because I spoke the word, yes those are the miracles that Jesus was and is talking about…AMEN
