Your Secret Weapon

Judges 16:6-7 says” And Delilah said to Samson, Tell me, I pray thee, wherein thy great strength lieth, and wherewith thou mightiest be bound to afflict thee. And Samson said unto her, If they bind me with seven green with that were never dried, then shall I be weak, and be as another man.

An angel of the Lord told Samson’s mother that she is never to cut the boy’s hair. As Samson grew older he had some amazing strength, his mother told him it comes from his hair because the Lord is with you Samson.

Samson was able to kill and destroy the men who were not of God. But like any young man Samson had a weakness for beautiful women, and after the death of his first wife who he was told not to marry he married her anyway.

As Samson fell into despair who comes into the picture? Delilah, a woman who was about to change his life-like never before. Samson quickly felled in love with her beauty, and just like the enemy he is always waiting trying to interfere with what God has given us. Delilah plotted with the enemy to find out the reason for his strength. As he laid his head in her lap he told her that his strength  is directly in his hair. While he slept she started cutting his hair and Samson was no longer the stronger man.

The men who battled to kill Samson knew that now he had no strength and that God was not with him. How many of you know that even when we mess up with the gift God has given us that God will step in and grant us Grace?

Samson prayed to God one more time asking for his help, notice that before he asked he repented to God, and the moment he did immediately the Lord came to his aid and Samson killed the men of evil.

Maybe today your feeling wow, I surely messed that up? Know today that what the enemy meant for evil God will turn it around for your good, AMEN
