If what We worry About really did Happened!

Matthew 6:27 says” Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life?

Did you know that eighty-percent of the things that people worry about never happens? What does this tells you? It tells me we are wasting entirely too much of our time worrying instead of living life.

While we are busy worrying the enemy is having a party he’s so busy having us worrying about so much that we don’t even see him at what he’s up to. Jesus said He did not give us the spirit of fear so why are we fearing what will never probably take place?

Could it be many of us like to worry for we have nothing else to do? Could it be that we don’t trust God to take care of our problems the way we think He ought to? Yeah! I believe this one is the correct answer we worry because we don’t trust God enough to handle our problems we think He might ask us to do something we don’t want to do, we think He will answer our prayers differently and we might lose out on something.

Today give it some thought about how much do you really trust God? And if you trust Him like you say you do and your actions speak more about worrying then your relationship with Jesus is not a close one.

Today  examine your heart look at all the areas of your life and see how much do you trust GOD? Only thing Worrying will do is robe you of PEACE.

  1. Whenever I get really worried about something, my husband always helps me with the above Bible verse. Wonderful post to remind everyone how senseless worrying is. Often hard to let go of it though. I’ll be the first to admit it.

  2. I’m so glad I’ve followed your blog! It’s nice to see a fellow blogger who has the same intentions as me; spreading God’s word.

I can definitely relate to this. There for a few years when my faith was shaken, it seemed like I worried about much more and almost lived my life in fear.

You never realize how much the enemy is at work until you come out of that situation and look back.

All I can say is I’m glad that I re-found my faith and have someone much stronger than myself to help put my fears at ease.

    1. Liz I too am happy to hear that your faith in God has been restored. For me this was always hard because I use to worry about every little thing. I never thought I would stop worrying. It took struggles to get me to the place of stop worrying. Now I am not claiming I don’t worry any more what I am and can say is that I don’t worry over the things I have no control over anymore. My pastor says this and it too helped me: We can’t control what happens to us in life the only thing we can control is how we are going to respond to it.

    1. my friend I am sorry to hear that you have been worrying so much. I thank God that this post ministered to you. We serve an amazing Jesus that he knows just what we need. I pray that God gives you peace in your mind and heart. In Jesus name I pray, AMEN
