Romans 6:18 says “And, having been set free from sin, have become slaves of righteousness.
When we think of Memorial Day we think about our Military people who have fought for our freedom and those who are still on the battlefield fighting for us. Why do they fight? They fight for our “freedom, for freedom cost, it doesn’t come free.
Each day we should wake up thanking God that we have freedom and that America is still standing just like she was those many years ago that she was declared Freedom. But all of this comes about from a loving God who blessed this country.
And just like God looked down from heaven with compassion and saw us in our sinful likeness sent His only Son to come and die for us that we can be eternally free not only in citizenship but we can be free from sin and that we will reign with Him in eternity forever and forever more.
Romans 6:22 say’s it best, “but now that you have been set free from sin and have become slaves to God, the benefit you reap leads to holiness, and the result is eternal life. Now that is complete freedom. So as you and your family enjoy your time together today, take a moment and pray for those who have fallen and those who still on the battlefield, and remember there is still room at Calvary’s Cross for those who don’t know Him. Lord. my theme today is “AMAZING GRACE” no true words every spoken then the words of this song. May this song minister to you today. God bless
