Happy 4th of July,

Remember when you was a youth in school, you would stand and place your hand over your heart and sing God Bless America? Most of our children today  aren’t taught this song, makes we weary because they are missing a very vital part of our history.

Today as you and your family and friends celebrate “Independence Day” take a moment and sing these words and thank God for the FREEDOM that you have. For many other nations don’t have the FREEDOM that we have here in AMERICA.

Song Writer  Irving Berlin
While the storm clouds gather far across the sea
Let us swear allegiance to a land that’s free
Let us all be grateful for a land so fair
As we raise our voices in a solemn prayer

God bless America, land that I love
Stand beside her and guide her
Through the night with a light from above
From the mountains, to the prairies

To the oceans white with foam
God bless America
My home sweet home

The tradition of Independence Day celebrations goes back to the 18th century and the American Revolution (1775-83). In June 1776, representatives of the 13 colonies then fighting in the revolutionary struggle weighed a resolution that would declare their independence from Great Britain.

Father God I thank you so much for the Freedom that we have here in America, I thank you for the men and women who fought and are still fighting to keep America Free, Lord continue to be with those men and women and their families. Give them the strength to continue the fight and protect them from harm. In the Mighty name of Jesus Christ, AMEN, AMEN and AMEN

Lord I pray for protection over America keep her safe.  I pray that America will repent to You Lord and comes back to The Lord Jesus Christ. Thank You Lord for your Grace and Mercy that You have shown her over the centuries.
