When the angel of the Lord appeared to Gideon he said the Lord is with you mighty warrior..In Jeremiah 20:11 it says, But the LORD is with me like a mighty warrior; so my persecutors will stumble and not prevail. They will fail and be thoroughly disgraced; their dishonor will never be forgotten.
Amazing how the word warrior is with both verses, for Gideon the angel called him a mighty warrior and with Jeremiah he said the Lord is with me like a mighty warrior, God showing Himself to Jeremiah like a mighty warrior. How many times have the Lord showed you these two verses in your life, God comes to us saying we are a like a mighty warrior and God tells us He is a mighty warrior fighting battles for you, so you don’t have to worry about fighting that battle.
When I think of the word warrior I think about a force to be reckoned with no one can stop a warrior, a warrior is out for justice and freedom for all people, Jesus is this mighty warrior in my life, He fights battles which I am not even aware of, He places me to be like Ezekiel on the wall on my watch post keeping guard and the Lord takes care of the rest for me.
Maybe today you have a battle in which you have been fighting for so long and it has you all bent out of sorts you have no energy to carry on, I come today asking you would you let Jesus be that warrior that you so desperately need at this time. Let Him fight your battles, all you need to do is stand still and watch the salvation of the Lord…AMEN
