Something for us all to Ponder on:

We give way to much time to the pleasures of this world, we give way to much time to our agendas, we give way to much time to fear and doubt, we give way to much time to sin, we give way to much time to the devil.

If we would stop giving all of our time to meaningless things we would have much better relationship with Jesus Christ. But because we put all of our time and energy into meaningless things we have become weak our journey. This is why we struggle with reading the word of God, we pick up our bibles and immediately the desire to read it becomes boredom. We’ve lost our zeal for prayer this is why we ask others to pray for us because we don’t know how to pray. We’ve lost our sense of purpose because we haven’t learned the art of humbling ourselves in the presence of Almighty God!

And yet we see what has happened in our lives and we still ignore the signs, to draw closer to God, why? Could it be that we place a much higher calling on our agenda’s more than we place on God?

You can tell a person who spends time with Jesus look at their bible, you will see notes written in it. Listen to how they talk, they aren’t caught up in worldly things. Watch how they handle adversities in their lives, they don’t become unglued and ranting off at the mouth like they don’t have hope.

I want to share something with you today and I want you to really listen to what I am saying, we all have seen and heard what is happening in the news. But the bible says clearly that these things are to come before He returns. Times are going to get much worse and persecution is and has come as you have seen on the news. My question to you is “What are you going to do as a Christian?” For a child of God there is only one answer and that is Righteousness.

Sadly enough I am weary about what some Christians will do, because many will go with the un-righteous. I am not here to preach to you that is not my intent. What I am here to do is tell you the truth in love. It is not safe for a Christian to play with God, you can’t please man and God at the same time. You can’t accept the world as your friend and think that you are pleasing God.

Others are scared and they know what is right according to the bible but they are afraid to stand up for truth, because they want to be in with the crowd or they don’t want to be called a trouble maker. Whatever your reasons for not standing up for righteousness makes you a coward because you are more concern about the world then the Lord Jesus Christ. Matthew 10:28 say’s it better, And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. As for me and my house we will serve the Lord.

Just like you I get scared of the things I see in the news I am concern but I am more concern about how I am living for Christ. Over the last six months or so, I have had this sense of urgency to draw closer to God. The Holy Spirit has been showing me and my husband both what is really important. It’s not about our careers it’s not about what we have; it’s about what more we can learn from Jesus. It’s that hunger to be more like Him like never before, the Lord is changing our thinking and opened our eyes and it’s been a blessing to us individually and in our marriage as husband and wife. I know this was a lengthy posting, I pray that you heard my heart and that you allow the Lord Jesus Christ to have His way in your life to the point that you will stand up for Righteousness.

The end is coming and I rather stand up for Christ then to live without Him. What will be your decision I pray you make the right one.
