  1. Every time I read this verse I always have the same thought: If Paul was living here in the time in which we live in would he still feel the same way he did when he spoke those profound words?

I must be honest with myself I find this scripture to be very hard to do, I have moments when I am confident in what I have and then I have those moments when I am not as confident as I would like to be when I have less.

Maybe it could be that I am putting my energy in my circumstances that I am surrounded in when I should focus more on being content for situations change all the time, nothing appears as they should be…

And though none of us will live this verse to completion I we must keep our eyes on the prize, for Jesus is soon to return and He will set everything in it’s rightful place. AMEN

  2. I am trying daily to learn that secret St Paul speaks of. A verse I pray daily from Proverbs 30 helps asking God “give me neither poverty nor riches, provide me only with the food I need lest being full I deny you saying who is the Lord? Or being in want I steal and profane the name of my God.” Thank you for sharing.
