Proverbs 3:5-6 says’ Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.
Decision making is never easy especially those difficult ones because the decisions that we make will effect us for a life time. What makes decisions hard? They are hard because we are tossing different scenarios back and forth in our minds, as if we know the outcome of them.
After we have exasperated everything within us then we come to our senses and look to God to help us. I have to ask this, when we come to God are we coming to get answers or are we coming to ask God to give us what we want? Shouldn’t our main reason coming to the Lord is to get His Will for us? And not our own wills?
Once we have peace about the matter and all our nerves have settled down, decision-making won’t be hard and we will have a much clear perspective on things.
Philippians 4:6-7 says’ Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
What have you learned about your decision making? Were you aggravated?
