The Questions We Ask

This morning I was thinking about some of the things we struggle with. And it dawned on me that the only reason we struggle is because we listen to, too much hearsay. When we should be listening to GOD only!

Am I saved? If you already have asked Jesus to come into your life according to  Romans 10:9-10 say’s then that is your evidence of you being saved.

Can one lose their salvation? According to Scripture, people who profess to know Christ at one time but later deny Him were never really saved to begin with.  1 John 2:19  says” They went out from us, but they were not really of us; for if they had been of us, they would have remained with us; but they went out, in order that it might be shown that they all are not of us.”

Do good people go to heaven? Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and [of] the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. John 3:5

Is there another Gospel? Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ. Galatians 1:7

Why does God allow sickness?  God is not the author of sickness and dieases, The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full. John 10:10

My prayer for you today is that you get it settled in your heart, what the Lord has said and stop this wrestling with these types of questions. AMEN?

Lord God help us in our unbelief.

  1. Yes, I completely agree! Some times we get ourselves into making the wrong decisions because we are not listening to God. I’ve made a lot of mistakes and I’ve realized that every time I do them it’s because I’m not listeniong to Him! Amen! I receive your prayer, I believe God will do something new!

    1. Glad you enjoyed the devotion today. I know I have went on my own, numerous times that it left me in such a mess. I am learning to wait more on God. these days, not saying I have arrived but I am better then I use to be
