Isaiah 49:10 says, Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
What is holding you back from being all you can be? The Military has a slogan that says “Be All You Can Be.” But what holds you and I from being all we can be?
I believe the number one answer is “FEAR” we hold back in our Marriages, Relationships with people, our Careers, Families, decision-making, our businesses and so forth. Why do we let fear restrain us from being all we can be?
Fear tells us that we will fail, fear says you can’t do it, fear says, who will listen to you, fear says you don’t have a clue, fear says you won’t last, fear tells us all the negative things and we sit and listen to it all the time. You may be saying well I don’t listen to fear then I tell you what when was the last time you wanted to act on something but the moment you was about to, you talked yourself out of it? When was the last time God told you something and you disobeyed Him? All of that is fear my friend, did you know the more we give into fear the less productive we will be for GOD? See God already knows that we are not able to do something within our own strength, but when He tells us to do something instead of thinking about it and all the other things we do so we can find an excuses, God is waiting on you and I to move immediately on His word, but we don’t do we?
God word tells us that we can do great exploits for the Kingdom of God but how can we when we allow fear to speak to us. Who do we worship God or fear? Who blessed us God or fear? Who reins in our lives God or fear? Each one of us are special and created in God’s image we have nothing to fear, for Jesus conquered death and the grave. Today let’s make a fresh decision that we will not let fear determine what we will do, be all you can be. And if you do fail at it so what it’s not a big deal. Just get up and wipe the dust off and keep moving. At least you stepped out, you didn’t let fear keep you in chains. AMEN
