Sometimes All it takes is for you to Stand

2 Timothy 3:16 say” That the man of God may be competent, equipped for every good work.

I believe that we give to our flesh and will way to much. We seem to have some urgency that we got to have the last word. Only to place our foot right in our mouths. Why do we do this? What makes us think that we just got to let others hear our fleshly non sense speak?

stuck in lifeDo you not know that you can say allot when you just “STAND?” That’s right and yet we look at standing as an option after everything else has failed. Let’s look at what the scripture is saying to us.  In the few verse ahead Timothy is reminding the people who Jesus said all who desire to live a godly life you will be persecuted, (as you can see Jesus gets right to the point). e goes on to say that while evil people and imposters will go on from bad to worse deceiving and being deceived. We who desire to live a godly life we must continue in what we have learned and have firmly believed knowing from whom we learned it from.

We just can’t shoot off at the mouth just because our feelings got hurt, but we are to stand firmly on the word of GOD! Evil will always try to get us to act out openly out of ignorance as though we have no God. When you read the book of Proverbs you will see how a folly person acts and how we are to behave if we want to live a godly life. Timothy goes on to say that when we are competent than and only then are we equipped for every good work.

One can not be equipped if we don’t stand on the word of God. So the next time evil presents itself to you, remember to “STAND” don’t give a foot to the devil.
