Are You Living Patience is a Virtue?

Isaiah 40:31 says” But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles. They shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.

foggyYou’ve heard that Patience is a Virtue? But do we truly understand it? Or are we saying it to sound spiritual? Truth be told we are just reciting what we have heard we don’t really live it in our lives?

When we wait we tend to feel powerless and abandoned. So what is Isaiah saying to us really? The word wait is not just setting with our hand folded doing nothing. God’s word tells us that while we are waiting our hearts are to be determined, unshakable, un-faltered, persistent, tenacious, committed single-minded, resolute and dedicated.

Now that we see the heart meaning of waiting; waiting doesn’t seem hopeless anymore does it? I challenge you today begin to ponder on these words let it marinate and slowly digest these words and watch them become apart of who you are.

In Jesus name AMEN
