The military uses this words ease and it’s meaning is, in a relaxed attitude with the feet apart and the hands behind the back (often as a command). How do you ease? Do you even do it? Often times when we think of resting we normally do something that makes us feel good. And there is nothing wrong with that because we all need to do it.

But today I wantthO20G940N to take this word ease and ask you do you ease your mind? That’s right, many of us don’t even know how to ease our minds because the moment we get ourselves prepared to do it our minds begin to race with other things. So how does one ease their mind?

It’s a process but it can be done. In order to ease our minds is first to decide how much junk are you going to allow your mind to process? We hear so much in the course of one day that it gets into our spirit and it lingers there until we filter it out.

This is how I ease my mind it’s found in Philippians 4:8  Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

This is not easy to do it takes practice and over the years I had to transform my thoughts so that my mind will be at ease. We hear people say they want peace but how can you have peace when your mind is not at ease? For they go hand-in-hand. We have to look at the overall picture here not just the surface. Do I have it mastered? No, I don’t but I have come a long way from where I use to be. Which means I don’t have to lay down on the sofa in order to rest my mind. I have learned the art of putting my mind at ease thorough out my day.

The question for you today: Is your mind at ease?
