The Lord Is My Keeper!

I challenge each of you to mediate, recite and memorize this scripture of verses. While sitting at my computer I asked the Lord what will I post today. And immediately He gave me these words. As I was looking this verse up the Spirit of God said” this is for you Desiray.” Don’t you just love it when God shows you something that it speaks to your inner man?

And though I have already memorized theses verses years ago, it was a blessing to me that God reminded me again about this. I know what God is telling me about these verses, and I know also that there is someone else who needs to be reminded that God is Your Keeper!

Psalm 121: 1-8     I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.

My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth.

He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber.

Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.

The LORD is thy keeper: the LORD is thy shade upon thy right hand.

The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night.

The LORD shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul.

The LORD shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.

  1. Fascinating that I should see your ‘like’ and read this immediately after having inserted a reference to the Lord calling boy Samuel as he lay down in the Temple (as adjustment to point 4 in word brought by Dr Stone). I think that may confirm this post Desiray.

      1. Yes indeed – it’s such a mind-blowing events that my terms of “Bridge over the Pond” or “invisible jigsaw” are utterly inadequate to convey the mystery of how He loves us and moves in our lives. Thank you for dropping by my sister.
