Yesterday’s Bible Trivia Question: Why did Abraham lie to King Abimelech about Sarah being his sister, instead of being his wife? Answer is found in Genesis 20:11 Abraham replied, “I said to myself, ‘There is surely no fear of God in this place, and they will kill me because of my wife.
Today is my Birthday! I turned 52 years old and I am a blessed woman. Over the years in my life I can say that the Lord has been gracious to me. I’ve over come many hurdles in life, won many battles and over came many fears and anxieties.
Each year my birthday gets better and better, I thank my family and friends who have showered me with blessings and surprises. So what does 52 means to me? It means making a new knot in my belt with new destinies. This coming April, 2016 I will be going to College, taking Business Management Courses. Never in my wildest of dreams did I think that I would be going to school, I thought I was done with it. Taking Ministry courses is much different then this.
I will say it will be an adjustment not only for me but for my husband as well, for I have to learn how to juggle home, work, school and Ministry, but I know this is what the Lord is telling me to do. Funny thing about this is the Lord told me to do this a year ago and I didn’t obey. Had I obeyed I would be further along then I am now. I do thank Him for His grace and that He never stopped pursuing me. I am so excited about going, I’ve looked over my classes got the chance to meet with my instructor. I’m ready to get my school supplies, my book-pack and laptop case. For I am ready to walk on campus I am obeying the Lord this time. I’m not going to let it bypass me. Just like Esther I am going to take courage and take advantage of this ripe opportunity that God has set before me one more time.
As you can see being 52 today is a great blessing for me and my family. I know that I can do this with the Lord’s help. I know He will guide me in my studies and help me retain all that I learn. In the Mighty name of Jesus, I pray. AMEN! My future is looking great and this is just the beginning of what is to come for me.
With that being said, I will always continue to post devotions, He keeps speaking to me about what He wants me to do with the devotions, and you guys are already seeing that because I have now added Bible Trivia, and that was God’s idea, not mine.
