Have you seen faith?

Hebrews 11:11 Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see. (NIV)

How many times have you read this verse in your life time? Seriously we all have read it hundreds of times. My question is “have you seen faith? That’s right, have you seen faith? I know it sounds strange but in all honesty I think we can recognize it in others but we are blind to it in our own lives.

When you see faith what do you see? Do you see confidence? Do you see steadfast?  Do you see  faithfulness?  I would like to say that we struggle with seeing it in our lives because when we don’t see the Lord moving the way we want all we can see is our lack of faith. But what would happen if we could see ourselves the way Jesus sees us?

We will see just how strong and tall we are standing. Have you ever watched a person who is has faith? One of the things you will see in them is that they are constantly trusting and believing God. No matter how the circumstances might be you just can’t deterred them away from what they believe to be true.

They might be down physically but their spirit man is strong. I ask you today, what does your faith look like?

Yesterday’s Bible Trivia? Who was Silas? Silas was a leading member of the first Christian community in Jerusalem and a colleague of Paul. In the epistles 2 Corinthians and 1 Thessalonians, he is called by a Roman name, Silvanus. After a disagreement between Paul and Barnabas, Paul selected Silas to be his companion on his second missionary journey, and Silas accompanied him through Galatia. In Philippi, Paul and Silas were cast into prison because of their preaching the Gospel (Acts 16:21).

Today’s Bible Trivia Question: What was Sarah’s handmaiden’s name?
