Fragrance, Fragrances

Oh, how we love the smell of sweet aroma fragrances, we love it so much that while we are in the store we stop at the counters and smell them don’t we?  And rather we make a purchase or not we just can’t help our selves to take a smell. We love the aroma of baked goods like fresh bread, cakes, pies and cookies.

The moment we smell something that caught our nostrils we get this urge to go directly to it. What is it about the fragrance of perfume and cologne that starts a spark in us?

Whatever draws your attention to those fragrances or aroma, it leaves an impression on us. I want to share another fragrance that should be drawing our attention and it “Amazing Grace.” When you sing this song what does it do for you? Are you running to God? Does it speaks to your soul in away that makes you grateful?

Amazing Grace, how sweet the sound,
That saved a wretch like me….
I once was lost but now am found,
Was blind, but now, I see.

T’was Grace that taught…
my heart to fear.
And Grace, my fears relieved.
How precious did that Grace appear…
the hour I first believed.

Through many dangers, toils and snares…
we have already come.
T’was Grace that brought us safe thus far…
and Grace will lead us home.

The Lord has promised good to me…
His word my hope secures.
He will my shield and portion be…
as long as life endures.

When we’ve been here ten thousand years…
bright shining as the sun.
We’ve no less days to sing God’s praise…
then when we’ve first begun.

Amazing Grace, how sweet the sound,
That saved a wretch like me….
I once was lost but now am found,
Was blind, but now, I see.
