Minor or the Majors

When we think of minors and majors the first thing that comes to mind is baseball. That’s right who doesn’t enjoy watching a good baseball game while eating a hotdog, rather you’re at Wrigley field, or National park, it’s going to be a good game to watch. The baseball league has major and minors. Minor League Baseball is a hierarchy of professional baseball leagues in the Americas that compete at levels below Major League Baseball and provide opportunities for player development and a way to prepare for the major leagues.

Major League Baseball is a professional baseball organization that is the oldest of the four major professional sports leagues in the United States and Canada.

But there is another minor and major and that is in our college universities. Students can pick which undergraduate major their going to study to prepare them for their future. There is another minor and major that I want to talk to you about and that is your relationship with God.

Are you majoring in the minora or majors? Many times in our walk we start out in the minors our faith is shallow we haven’t grown into this new life of living. Our reading of God’s word is very stagnant because we are still in the minors. But as we experience more in life and we make an effort to apply the word to our lives we move now into the majors. We’re using our faith every day, were reading the word along with studying it. Our prayer life has changed we don’t pray short and sweet prayers anymore. We are praying with authority and were understanding the word of God while wisdom has birth in us.

I know that not all Christians are in the majors, for the scripture tells us that we should not stay on milk alone but that we should be eating meat. I ask you today, where are you? Major or Minors?
