What keeps You from Falling?

Romans 15:4 says” For whatever was written in former days was written for our instruction, that through endurance and through the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope.

What keeps you from falling? The Scriptures are not only written for our present instruction, but for the encouraging, and establishing, a hope of eternal life. through his blood and righteousness; of the declarations of God’s free grace and mercy to sinners, to rejoice in hope of the glory of God.

Jude 24 tells us that, to him who is able to keep you from falling and to present you before his glorious presence without fault and with great joy.” First, God will guard you against falling

  1. He will guard you against falling.
  2. He will present you before judgment without fault.
  3. He will present you with tremendous joy.

Job declared that He is a hedge of protection around you. He instructs his angel to “encamp” around you and deliver you from your enemy to guard you in all your ways as the invisible horses and chariots of fire surrounded Elisha, so God is protecting you. God’s guard around you is no small thing. You can rely upon him.

With all the promises of assurances of God’s word there is no need for us to think that we are falling. We fall on our own when we listen to ungodly teaching or when we want to be govern over our lives. Satan trips us by having us believing that he is bigger than God. Satan creates diversions in our lives which causes us to question God’s love for us.

If you fall it’s because you have disconnected yourself from God.
