It was Marked Confidential

Matthew 11:8 Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.

An inter-office receives numerous of confidential mail throughout the day. When it arrives it’s for a particular individual in other words it’s for their eyes only. We all like getting ail at work, we especially dislike it when it arrives at our hoes. Our pulse starts to rise and we start guessing what could it be.

Until our curiosity finally gets the best of us we start ripping it open, only to find out that it wasn’t all important anyway. Most of the times its junk mail in which someone has been trying to contact us. Either way they got our attention, right?

What would you do if God handed you an envelope marked confidential? Your laughing I know, but God has, He tells us to confide in Him. He doesn’t want you and I running off telling everybody everything without talking to Him first. Your envelope from God is His word, and this is what is marked for you.

  • Enter into His Presence
  • Come to Him first
  • Trust Him not what your surroundings look like
  • Pray the scriptures
  • Deny the flesh, don’t listen to your own reasoning

Remember nothing catches God by surprise walk in the Victory that God has promised you in His word.

When we don’t trust God at our weakest moment we break that security breach with GOD.

  1. Desiray – While ALL are invited to come, sadly, few heed the call. The truth is indeed ‘confidential’ – it reserved for true believers. “Jesus said, I thank You, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that You have hidden these things from the wise and prudent and have revealed them to babes”- Mt. 11:25. “When He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come”- Jn. 16:13. “The natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned”- 1Cor. 2:14. “He who looks into the perfect law of liberty and continues in it, and is not a forgetful hearer but a doer of the work, this one will be blessed in what he does”- Jas. 1:25. A Christian student once replied to his atheist college professor who claimed that he’d read the Bible from cover to cover but could make no sense of it, and then questioned how anyone could put their faith in it: “Respectfully sir, the Bible is God’s love letter to His children. If you can’t make sense of it, you ought not be surprised – reading someone else’s mail”. Indeed, each true believer has access to ‘Top Secret’ information within the pages of the Bible. May God continue the great work He’s accomplishing in and through you!
