Why God Lets Us Wait?

Isaiah 40:31says” But they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.

Had He not you and I wouldn’t have faith! In the waiting room, we develop several things. The first thing we learn is that we are not in control of our lives like we think we are. We are reminded that God’s timing is not in our timing. We can’t rush the Lord.

The second thing we learn about the waiting room is that God is molding us into His image and likeness. He wants us to have the character that He has. He does this by transforming our minds. God get the glory and we can’t take no credit for it.

When we are waiting, we learn about God’s glory. We become closer to the Lord then we once were, and in turn it makes the non-believer looks at your life and desire to have that same faith.

You might not know this but non-believers really are Fascinated with saints, what clouds all sinner’s minds about God is their intellect. They can’t understand God’s love for man. You and I will never understand really the depth of why we must wait and no one likes waiting but I am reminded of something that makes sense to me. If a person gave you everything you wanted when you asked, how likely are you to appreciate it?

Let’s be honest with ourselves we only appreciate from the battle we experienced. Waiting to me is about purification so when the Lord places me in the refiner’s fire I must except it for I know when I come out of it I will be pure as gold.

Have a blessed Wednesday
