In His Presence

Luke 11:28 Even more blessed are all who hear the word of God and put it into practice.”

WoW! Did your spirit leap inside of you? Did you just read what this verse? Luke is telling us that those who actually put God’s word into  practice are more blessed than those who just read it!

Anyone who reads the bible is blessed but Jesus goes on further to say that those who actually applies the word to their lives are even more blessed. Don’t you want to be more bless then what you are now, of course you do.

We have far to many people who simply just read the bible but haven’t applied it to their lives at all, we have to get pass the surface of just reading it, we have to be obedient to the word, for this brings us much more blessings. Why did Jesus say this? First of all we have to go back to verse twenty-seven it say’s “as Jesus was saying these things, a woman in the crowd raised her voice and said, “Blessed is the womb that bore You, and blessed are the breasts that nursed You.”

Then in Luke 8:21 Jesus replied, “my mother and brothers are those who hear the word of God and carry it out.” Then in Revelation 1:3 He talks again about this same verse. Blessed is the one who reads the words of this prophecy, and blessed are those who hear and obey what is written in it, because the time is near.

What will you do today? Now that you have read the scriptures it’s time to start practicing the word, AMEN!

  1. Let us all become much better then what we have been doing and start practicing the word in our daily lives. I pray that you all have a blessed Sunday today and as you attend church today, I pray that the you are touched by the message the pastor brings forth.

Me and my family are headed to church ourselves, but I wanted to make sure I post your devotion before leaving. May the presence of God be upon each of you today. And that He grants your prayer request and heal your hearts, In the Mighty Name of Jesus I ask. AMEN
