Acts 16:25 says’ About midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the other prisoners were listening to them.

When it comes to worship the bible is very clear about how we are to worship. Unfortunately not many of us do this. I think it’s because we don’t have an understanding of what true worship is. We think that we are to only worship in church on Sunday’s. We can worship without being in church, we are to worship the Lord by the way we live our life, that’s right. When we are obedient to the Lord we are worshiping the Lord.

Don’t wait until problem arise before you worship the Lord, there is nothing wrong with that but the bible tells us to worship Him all the time. The benefits of worship, you can’t worry and worship at the same time. Worship brings you into the presence of God.

One of the things I do in my home is have my worship music playing, I listen to it while cleaning my house, cooking my meals. There’s really something special that happens when we get into the presence of God. When I  am at the gym I put my ear-bug in, turn my Pandora worship station and before long I have broken out into my praise on that treadmill. I get the best workout ever.

When I was a little girl by parents played music in the house all the time, my parents would have jam sessions every Friday night, so music is in my blood. I learned from an early age the benefits of music. Praise and worship is so rewarding, and you know what? We will probably never know or get to the point of just how rich it is.

How does  your heart responds to worship? Our hearts will determine our worship.

  1. Amen. Worship music can put me in a place of true praise & gratefulness. I’ve even notice that listening to the right song during a trial can give me strength because I feel a deeper connection to God.

  2. Greetings and Blessings to you! Amen! I don’t know where I would be today if it had not been for the Lord in those moments of praise and worship!!! 🙂
