Who’s Hand is Your Faith In?

Isaiah 40:31 says “but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.

Trust is a huge mountain for us all because it takes us to leaps, bounds and territories we never been before. And out of our past disappointments and hurt we find trusting to be last on our list of things to do. And yet in some form of way we do things in our daily lives and we never give trust a thought. For example, we can catch a plane to go from one state to another, board the plane and have no fear. We put complete trust in the pilot that he will get us to our destination with no reservation. Amazing how we do that and yet we have a hard time trusting God.

Why are we like that? Could it be that when it comes to trusting God we don’t have the faith that He will do what is in our best interest? Think about it for a moment; when it comes to trusting a pilot, we assume he has been to flight school, we assume he has the education and hours to fly a plane.

And that he knows how to handle emergencies should they arise, correct? We know the pilot is committed to that plane and all the passengers on board, correct? In the same way don’t we know Jesus as good as His word? He has never lost a passenger in battle and He can handle all emergencies.

Then why do we not trust Jesus like we should? Don’t know you that the Lord Jesus desire for you and I to trust Him completely with no reservations what so ever? When we trust Him, we have peace in our hearts, mind and thoughts. We can rest with no worries, no stress and anxieties.

As you go along your day to day I want you to rest in trusting Him. And watch how the peace of God will rest upon you today.
