Question where is your faith in God?

Luke 8:25 says” Where is your faith?” he asked his disciples. In fear and amazement they asked one another, “Who is this? He commands even the winds and the water, and they obey him.”

Sometimes all you Need is for someone to Ask you a question.

This past Sunday as I was listening to my praise and worship a song came on the radio that I haven’t heard in a very long time. As I started reminiscing my mother and how much she loved this song, I got to thinking about how when we are faced with adversaries what response are we giving? And then it dawned on me that the only question we need to ask ourselves and those whom we are encouraging is “where is your faith?”

These four powerful words is all that it takes for someone to hear that will cause them to stir their faith. It’s not always a long speech or a long prayer that we need we just need to be reminded of our faith. Faith gives us hope it takes our eyes from our problems while we are focusing on the Lord Jesus.

From my house to yours we wish you and yours a very Blessed Thanksgiving Day. I will be back on Friday morning to give you your devotional.

  1. I often think of the disciples on the boat afraid. The ideal would be not to be afraid in any situation because we would trust Jesus that much. I would call that something for me to aim for, not having achieved yet. Happy Thanksgiving!

  2. Belle you know you are right, I think of how we are just like the disciples we are afraid and we know that Jesus is with us. We all need to work on our faith. Have a blessed Thanksgiving Day
