Matthew 11:28-29 say’s Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn of me: for I am meek and lowly in heart, and ye shall find rest unto your souls.
There is not one person that I know who enjoy doing squats! What is it about these squats that are beneficial to a person? Seriously when you start out a person can do one with no problem but by the time they get to three we are feeling the pain in our backs, legs and knees.
It’s the pain that turns us off from ever doing them ever again, but the truth is we feel the pain out of several factors, number one is that we are using a muscles we never use all the time, secondly, we just might be doing it wrong all together.
It’s not until we do the squats correctly that we don’t feel that pain as bad. And yet we all can agree that doing squats is a hate relationship, correct?
Did you know that in our personal lives we do squats? That’s right, and I am going to show you how we do it. The bible tells us to lay aside everything that so easily beseech us. It also tells us that we who are heavy laden, and burden are to lay it before the Lord. We know this scripture very well. And yet every time we go in prayer to God about our issue we are giving it to Him, but the moment we start worrying about it and start taking matters into our own hands as if God needs our help what we are doing is those squats that we so hate doing.
The sad thing about a person doing life squats does more of those squats then what they do in a gym. We walk around all day doing squats, aren’t your back and knees hurting? Don’t you want to stand up and get out of that squatting position? Seriously how can one function when they are constantly in the squat position?
What we need to do is remember that when we give it to the Lord we have a benefit, which is He will give us peace and victory. Now if you enjoy being burden and carrying that heavy load it will eventually destroy you. That is not God’s plan for your life. He doesn’t want us walking around carrying any load.
