Palm Sunday

John 12:13 says’ So they took branches of palm trees and went out to meet him, crying out, “Hosanna! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord, even the King of Israel!”

Zechariah 9:9 says’ Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion! Shout aloud, O daughter of Jerusalem! Behold, your king is coming to you; righteous and having salvation is he, humble and mounted on a donkey, on a colt, the foal of a donkey.

Today being Palm Sunday I am just amazed here we see and read in Zechariah how he talked about how the Messiah would enter the city on a donkey colt and then we go right into the New Testament and we see in John talking about the exact same thing.

Palm Sunday is all about the beginning of what is to come, it’s the day our Lord enter a city where people was singing His praises but yet also some was planning His death. Little did they knew that He was going to arise and be resurrected from the grave. Many times He told them tear down this temple and in three days I will make it rise. They had no idea what He was talking about.

For a Christian Palm Sunday is not just another ordinary day, it’s remembrance of the sacrifice our Lord Jesus did to give man Salvation.

Lord, touch the pastors and ministers as they stand in front of that pulpit and give your message of salvation for mankind. Let many come to know you this day Lord. Let them run to the altar crying what must I do to be saved, In the mighty name of Jesus Christ I pray, AMEN, and AMEN…

Thank you Lord God Almighty!
