  1. I needed to hear this today, especially the part about forgiveness. Thank you so much for sharing, Desiray. I will be praying for your doctors visits to go well and that the healing you have believed for to show up officially in the doctor’s reports.

    May God bless you!

    1. Sis Gwenn thank you so very much for your prayers.. Each morning in my prayer time I bring this woman before the Lord for Salvation.

      I know without a shadow of doubt that the Lord has me in my health. Again thank you for praying.

      God bless you too sis. Love you.1

  2. P.S. I do believe that the devil and spiritual warfare are real. I just keep forgetting that they are working here and now. This was a good, timely reminder to open our eyes to what is happening around the world all the time. Keep being bold and speaking the truth!

    1. It’s so real that many of the saints aren’t aware of how real it is which saddens me. Irish more churches would speak on it. But I do believe that most are scared because they don’t want to cause an uproar in folks. Devil gets pleasure in making us afraid. We can make him more afraid of we speak up about it. How else are we gonna see miracles done before our very eyes. Amen

  3. I had never even considered spiritual warfare as something real until I was on a mission trip (not even my first mission trip!) in which everyone was passing around a book by Frank Peretti. That book was “THIS PRESENT DARKNESS”. It and the sequel (which can be read independently) “PIERCING THE DARKNESS” have become two of my favorite books and have become part of my five-year-regular-reading rotation, along with “PRIDE AND PREJUDICE” and other favorites.

    Even now, I am not nearly aware enough of spiritual warfare going on around me, and yesterday fell into a day-long depression that could have been greatly shortened if I had been more aware of what was happening as it unfolded. An even greater irony is that one of my favorite friends and I talked in depth only the day before about an episode of near-crippling spiritual warfare she came out of last week.

    Keep giving us the news we need to hear, Desiray, because as you know, our need to hear it is never going to go away this side of heaven!

    1. That book you mentioned my husband has read it before. I haven’t read it, I normally only read the bible. But as you mentioned we are not aware of what lurks and we have to be ready.

      Through this whole experience I learned many things one was God was working Character . The bible speaks of how patience will work out through it. I also learned that I needed more of the Holy Spirit in every area of my life. I learned that things of this earth is only temporal.
      And I needed the fire stirred up within me again. As for forgiveness God has given me a heart of clay so that now I feel remorse for people who don’t know Him.

      I want you to know that my Cardiologist appointment today was perfect they saw nothing on the EKG from a week ago. Talking about praising God in that doctor’s office. It was the news I wanted to hear.

      Again thank you.

  4. Thanks for sharing your experience and testimony with us Desiray.

    I have observed yet again, that the casting of spells, demonic activities, and the influence of darkness will take root in:
    * the words we say
    * the words we hear and choose to believe, and
    * our minds.
    Some persons may say that it is all “mind games”, but it is really witchcraft. And that’s why we, as believers in Jesus Christ, have to hide in the secret place of the most High and constantly renew our minds with the word of God.

    Some of the other things we ought to do, when we interact with persons who deal with the “dark side” are listed in 1 Thes. 5: 15-18.
    15) See that none render evil for evil unto any man; but ever follow that which is good, both among yourselves, and to all men.
    16) Rejoice evermore.
    17) Pray without ceasing.
    18) In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.

    Luckily for you, that particular co-worker left, we thank God. Please pray for others who have these encounters on a regular basis with the forces of darkness who work through their parents, spouse, siblings, neighbours etc., who will in no wise relocate. Then there are those who work witchcraft secretly while they sing in the choir, preach in the pulpit, and even raise their hands in praise beside you in the pew. But we are more than conquerors through Christ.

    Finally, may I suggest to all persons who have been oppressed by spells, and other forms of witchcraft etc. that has affected you in your relationships, your commitment to God, your work, and even your health . . . do a three-day fast (or even a seven-day fast). God will reveal answers to you, and he will instruct you what to do.

    Be blessed.

    1. Thank you for listening Suz. I appreciate you commenting on it. The sad thing is that so many saints don’t believe in the evil of witchcraft, and that is what really bothers me. I think that the reason they don’t is because we aren’t teaching in in our churches. When I look at the Ministry of Jesus He cast those demons out and called them by their names. And after Jesus went back to heaven Paul spoke about it and some how we act as if what they talked about and did was only for back then.

      And even if the churches aren’t speaking on it it’s our job to study the word for ourselves. Which means we are without excuses.

      Have a blessed Memorial Day.
