Good evening! I first want to say that the reason you haven’t received your daily devotions in your emails was because me and my family were on vacation. We had a beautiful time riding go carts I felt like a kid again. It has been awhile since I played basketball but we had so much fun that we both were sore, thank God for hot tubs. I even talked my husband into getting a massage, which he loved now he wants to get them when I go. We went out on the golf course and hit lots of golf balls. We did so much and had such a great time.
Your evening devotion is a short but sweet one. I pray that you enjoy it.
Proverbs 17:2 says”A wise servant will rule over a disgraceful son, and will share the inheritance as one of the brothers.
How you live is more of an influence then the position or title one has.
Our influence has less to do with our position or title than it does with the life we live. It’s not about the position you hold, but it’s about production, it is not about the education you have but it’s the empowerment we give to others that makes the difference.
The key word is “credibility we gain credibility when our life matches our talk and when both add value to others. In Proverbs 17:2 it’s better to be a wise slave than a foolish son. Do we have consistency? Are you the same person no matter who’s with us?
How is your character? Do you work harder at your image or your integrity? Remember what ever is on the inside of you will surface to the front. Very rarely do we find people whose words and action have consistency.
Today’s prayer: Lord I pray for all those who read this, I pray that they be will be men and women whose actions will measure up by what they speak. And Lord help those who struggle in this area help them to allow the Holy Spirit to minister and to teach them in this area of their lives, I thank You for what You are doing in people’s lives at this very hour. AMEN, AMEN, and AMEN
