Capture

Job 12:7-10 says, But ask the animals, and they will teach you, or the birds in the sky, and they will tell you; or speak to the earth and it will teach you or let the fish in the sea inform you. Which of all these does not know that the hand of the Lord has done this? In his hand is the life of every creature and the breath of all mankind.

In this world we get so busy that we don’t take time out to appreciate what is around us. We can be so busy with family, friends and careers that we neglect to capture what the Lord has surrounded us with. That’s right! We need to appreciate everything that God has created. We tend to take life for granted. There used to be a high regard for life but now it seems like we just don’t care anymore. Are we treating life like we treat our relationship with Jesus? Expecting Him to just understand when we want to be in control?

Why does one wait until they are low to start appreciating life? Recognizing that every breathe we take is given to us by the Lord Almighty?  For the earth speaks of God and cries out for the second coming of Jesus.

Every day we should be capturing the beauty of what the Lord has created. Learn to take a walk and smell the air, see that pretty flower that is blooming in the ground. See the trees as they are turning colors. Sit and watch the sun set. Let’s not take God’s creation for granted anymore. Let’s capture the beauty. Life is short you only have one to live here on this earth. You don’t want to be a person who regrets that they didn’t make time to capture what God has surrounded them with.

  1. I make it a habit to appreciate God’s beauty. Sometimes when a breeze is blowing I will stand still close my eyes and take a deep breath. Other times when I will stretch my arms and let the wind blow through my arms. I have learned that life has to be appreciated and that every minute of the day God surrounds me with His creation. And for that I am thankful.

  2. I completely agree with the question you posed “Why does one wait until they are low to start appreciating life?”
Unfortunately sometimes we take things for granted.
I’ve made it a habit to see the beauty in everything- even in my lowest moments.
Life goes by very quick. I want to bask in God’s beautiful creations while I’m living.
